Abstract

Blended Learning is an approach toeducation that combines online educational materials and opportunities for interaction online with traditional place-based classroom methods.One of the examples of online learning platform is Google Classroom. The purpose of this research is identify students’ achievement and perspective on the use of Google Classroom in teaching writing at eleventh grade MAN 1 Mataram. The subjects of this research were 29 students of XI IBB. The analysis of data is analyzed descriptively qualitative supported by quantitative data. Test and questionnaire are the instrument to collect the data. The test is divided into two part, Pre-test and Post-test. The results of the research are the following: (1) the result of learning achievement, for pre-test is 68.9 and post-test is 74.48. (2) The result of questionnaire, students feel Google classroom is easy to use, useful and could improve their writing skill in learning English.
