Abstract
This research is critical discourse to see the position of media Lombok Post in representing the image of law enforcement officers. The media as a tool to deliver the news has the ability to act as an institution that can shape public opinion, besides the media can also develop into interest or image presented to be put in the context of real life. With paradigm "bad news is good news," not only "good news is good news" can only be a paradigm that is a separate issue in the world of journalism because it can cause processing paradigm serving a misleading news. The theory is used to examine this phenomenon is the theory of critical discourse model of Norman Fairclough. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection is done through observation. The data were then processed, analyzed, and interpreted to see if the media put keobjetifannya in constructing the image of hukm enforcement officers. The results of data analysis and discussion shows that the media Lombok Post puts neutrality in representing the image of law enforcement
