The thesis entitled “An Analysis of Nature’s Elements in Correlation to Symbolism in Robert Frost’s Poem: Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening. The objective of the study are to find out nature’s elements which stated in Frost poem and to know the symbolized by nature’s elements used in the poem. Because of this thesis was not a series of numbers, so that the writer used a descriptive qualitative method that describing the facts, data or material objects. In this study, the data sources were taken from the poem and the data are nature’s elements itself. The techniques of collecting data are from the internet, articles and library. In this thesis, the writer finds 7 nature’s elements, they are: Woods, Snow, Frozen Lake, Wind, The Darkest Evening of The Year, Downy Flake, and Woods are Lovely Dark and Deep. Here woods reflect community that has different character, behaviors and perceptions. The color of snow symbolized people’s feeling or emotions, how we feel about our self and our own purity. If community feels like a death, it is a reflection of the frozen lake. The darkest evening of the year symbolizes a feeling of doom and sadness. Wind symbolized a problem that community faced in the society. Downy flake symbolizes the emptiness that someone feels. Woods are lovely dark and evening symbolized people who held on to their religion or God.
