Abstract

This study aims to determine the farmer's perception of the profit-sharing system for cattle farming in Kediri District, West Lombok Regency. Research respondents are kadasan farmers who are in five of the ten villages with the highest number of livestock populations. The research method uses a survey method. Sampling of respondents using purposive sampling technique. The main instrument of this research is a questionnaire used to explore primary data. The secondary data is obtained from the relevant agencies/agencies. Analysis of research data using the Likert scale measurement method. The results showed that the farmer's perception of the profit-sharing system for cattle farming in Kediri District was classified as very high or useful. Past experience variable has a score of 800 which is in the interval 677 - 870 which is classified as high or useful. Then the economic variable has a score of 653 which is in the interval 484 - 677 in the quite useful category. Then on the technical aspect, it has a score of 758 at the interval of 677 - 870 including the high or useful category. Based on the results of the observational variable scores, a total score of 2,211 was obtained which was in the interval of 2,030 – 2,610 so that it can be concluded that the farmers' perception of the profit sharing system for cattle business in Kediri District is in the high or good category.
