Abstract

Soybean is a superior food crop in West Sumbawa Regency with stable productivity and high nutritional value, so it has the potential to be developed. UD. Kabar Bumi is one of the agro-industries in Taliwang District, West Sumbawa Regency that uses soybeans as raw material for production. Processed products are liquid soy milk, powdered soy milk, soy coffee and fried soybeans. Production activities cause changes in the value of a raw material with the aim of obtaining high profits. Calculation of added value, large production and income must be carried out in order to determine the amount of profit. An assessment of agro-industry constraints is carried out to obtain solutions for the sustainability of production activities. The aims of the research are: (1) To know the added value of processing soybean-based products in the agroindustry UD. Kabar Bumi, Taliwang District, West Sumbawa Regency, (2) Analyzing how much income the soybean-based product processing business earns in the agroindustry UD. Kabar Bumi, Taliwang District, West Sumbawa Regency, (3) Identifying the obstacles faced by entrepreneurs in the business of soybean-based products in the agroindustry UD. Kabar Bumi, Taliwang District, West Sumbawa Regency. The research method used is descriptive method, with the unit of analysis in the form of agro-industry processing soybean-based products at UD. Kabar Bumi, Taliwang District, West Sumbawa Regency. The research area was determined by purposive sampling, which was located in the Bosok Neighborhood RT/RW 01/O6 Menala Village, Taliwang District, West Sumbawa Regency. The research respondents were agro-industry owners/managers (purposive sampling). Data collection was conducted by means of interviews and observations (primary data and secondary data) and analyzed using descriptive analysis, calculation of income and income and value added analysis of the Hayami method. Based on the results of the research that the added value of liquid soy milk products is Rp. 96,416.63/Kg bw, powdered soybean milk is Rp. 56,944.42/Kg bw, soybean coffee is Rp. 72,611.08/Kg bw and fried soybeans is Rp. 30,111, 08/Kg bb. The income for liquid soy milk products is Rp. 71,416.63/Kg bw, powdered soybean milk is Rp. 40,277.75/Kg bw, soybean coffee is Rp. 55,944.42/Kg bw and fried soybeans is Rp. 13,444.42/Kg. As well as the constraints faced by soybeanbased agroindustry at UD. Kabar Bumi, Taliwang District, is product marketing.
