This thesis entitled “An Analysis of the Main Character’s Characteristics and Psychological Aspect in Death Note: A Comic by Tsugumi Ohba”. The writer concerned with the main character’s characteristics and psychological aspect that occurs in this comic. The data gained from the pictures and the dialogues of the Death Note comic as the primary data, the secondary data is from the books, articles, journals and other sources that related to this topic. The writer uses descriptive analytic method and structural approach to analyzing the data. This thesis also uses qualitative research method because the object in this thesis does not consist of number. The technique and method in data collection is library research and intensive reading of the primary data. The writer of this thesis found there are five significant characteristic of the main characteristic in the Death Note comic and also there are relationships the characteristics with the theory of Sigmund Freud (Id, Ego and Superego). Light Yagami as the main character can be classified in personality disorder because his character shows the signs of the person who has antisocial personality.
