Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of local workers' human resources in the formal and informal sectors in the city of Mataram. The research approach used is descriptive research by taking the location in the city of Mataram. The type of research used is a survey sample. The respondents of this study were local workers who were absorbed in the formal and informal sectors in the city of Mataram. Determination of respondents by purposive sampling as many as 50 people who work in the formal sector and 50 people who work in the informal sector. The analysis technique used is carried out in the following ways: (1) Quality of Human Resources of Local Workers is analyzed on various indicators of Quality of Human Resources; (2) Analysis of primary data was carried out using cross tables, relating to the aspects studied. The results showed that from the aspect of age, health and education, the quality of local workers' human resources was of sufficient or relatively good quality. The average length of work for the formal sector is 4 years, the average working day is 6 days a week with an average daily working hour allocation of 8.7 or approximately 9 hours per day. Meanwhile, informal sector workers average length of work is 3 years, the average working day is 6.5 or approximately 7 days with an outpouring of working time in a day for 7 hours. The average level of income earned by human resources in the informal sector is IDR 2,227,400, higher than the Mataram City Minimum Wage in 2020 of IDR 2,184,485.Meanwhile, the average income earned by local workers in the informal sector is Rp.1,485,000, which is still far below the UMK in Mataram Cit
