Abstract

This research is conducted by the lack of fine motor skills of group B children in early childhood Al-Ijtihad Danger. The childrens feel difficulties in doing activities related to fine motor such as cutting and sticking activities. The purpose of this study is to improve the fine motor skills of children through kolase activities in children group B in early childhood Al-Ijtihad Danger. This type of research is a development research by adopting method from Borg and Gall. Subjects in this study were 14 children group B PAUD Al-Ijtihad Danger. Data was collected by observation and documentation, then the data continued to analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis. In this research, the childrens are given by collage activities in the form of cutting, grazing and stick. The results showed that the applied of collage activities in learning can improve the fine motor ability of childrens. The Improvement can be seen in the research results. fine motor ability of childrens has increased 58,6% (development stage 1), 73,5% (development stage 2), and 85,8% (development stage 3). Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the collage activities can applied to improve the fine motor skills of children group B in early childhood Al-Ijtihad Danger 2016/2017.
