Abstract
Background: Tuberculosis (TB) is one of the infectious diseases which is caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Mataram municipality was given the largest contribution of tuberculosis prevalence in West Nusa Tenggara. Puskesmas Cakranegara district is contribute the largest tuberculosis case for Mataram municipality in the third last years. Prevention of the disease is the most important thing to againts tuberculosis, where knowledge and attitude are component to support the prevention of tuberculosis. Objective: To determine the correlation between the level of knowledge and public attitude due to the effort to preventing tuberculosis disease in Puskesmas Cakranegara district. Method: This study is a cross sectional study. The purpossive sampling method is used in this study. The questionnaires previously was tested for validity and reliability is used in this study. Data tabulated and analysed using spss program version 16.0.
