Abstract
This study aimed to determine whether or not the influence of perseptions about chemistry towards motivation on chemistry learning of students class X MIA MA State 1 Mataram academic year 2017/2018. This reseach types is quantitative ex-post facto. Population in this study covers the whole of students class X MIA MA State 1 Mataram which number 125 students. The technique used for sampling by using proporsioonal random sampling technique. Sample in this study were 95 students. Data collection was used questionnare persepstion about chemistry dan motivation student’s on chemistry learning. Test try instrument held on 15 respondents in outside sample that obtained by way of drawing. Instrument validity test was used Product Moment Correlation. Result of validity test questionnare perseption of chemistry obtained 18 item valid from 20 items, while the motivation questionnare was obtained in 17 valid items from 20 items. The reliability test was used Alpha Cronbach’s formula. Reliability test result for perseption about chemistry of 0.9065, while the reliability test for learning motivation of 0.9458. Data analysis technique was used simple regression analysisi technique. Simple regression hypotheisi test result obtained by the value coffecient corelassion of 0.5883 with rtable of 0.2072 at a significant level of 5%, cause rcount is greater than rtable then this indicates that there is a positive influence between perseptions about chemistry towards motivation student’s on chemisrty learning. The result of coffecient determination test obtained 34.6%. The result of significance test of coffecient correlation shows thas Fcount = 49.3 greater than Ftable = 1.63. Therefore Ha accepted and H0 rejected. Based on these results it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between perceptions about chemistry towards motivation on chemistry learning of students class X MIA MA State 1 Mataram academic year 2017/2018.
