Abstract

This thesis namely An Analysis on Participants’ Needs in Learning English at King Group course and LBC in MATARAM is analyzed about students’ needs at KING GROUP and LBC. The population of this study was all of the pre intermediate level students of two informal education institutions in Mataram. In getting the data I used only questionnaire to complete the data. In analyzing the data, quantitative and qualitative method were used to analyze the data of this study. After analyzing the data, I found that students’ needs have been met in varying data that has collected. Some kinds categories that have influenced the students’ needs which have been met by the students at English course. Namely; teaching method, learning materials, the facilities that support the learning process, the development of skill, support from people around that support the participant of the course also the use of the time towards the learning process
