Abstract

The research entitled: BEJORAK HUMOR IN LOMBOK POST: A ON GENERIC STRUCTURE AND VALUES aims at identifying the STUDY generic structure, education values and the other values of Bejorak Humor. The data were in three months from November 2008 to January 2009. The samples consist of 70 short stories, nine of which recycle from previous publication. Since stage proportional sample the writer took 15 stories in the Bejorak Humor in which 5 stories were taken every month. The data were analyzed by using qualitative descriptive method. There were two kinds of analysis in this study, analysis of generic structure and values. The writer found the generic structures of Bejorak Humor were orientation, complication and resolution. In which there was coda in the resolution that shown the Bejorak Humor in Lombok Post was funny. There were four values in the text of Bejorak Humor: education, moral, social, and religious.
