Abstract
This study is aimed at analyzing the use of code-mixing among the speakers of the Sumbawa Taliwang language in Cakranegara. This research was focused on finding out a language used in Karang Taliwang, and the forms of code-mixing that they used. The sample were 3 persons. The data were subsequently interpreted and analyzed by corresponce method with the technique of connection-equivalence equalities and that of connection-equivalence differences. The research findings showed that: (1) The highest percentage 71.2% of words used in the Taliwang was language those of the Sumbawa language and the rest were Sasak language (24.31%), Bali language (0%), Indonesian language (3.18%), and innovation internal (.9%). (2) In the Karang Taliwang, code-mixing was a common phenomenon. (3) The code-mixing phenomenon included phonological mixing, morphological mixing, lexical mixing, and phrase (syntactical) mixing, and the code-mixing in the Indonesian language including the lexicon mixing and the baster forms of affixation.
