Abstract
Building a smart prepaid digital energy meter supported by Bluetooth technology is focused topic research in order to answer the needs of more practical digital meter. This technology is able to simplify calculation usage energy for user such as calibration, charging pulses, and securing Energy Meters Digital (EMD) from irresponsible actions. The proposed Smart Energy Meter Digital (SEMD) comes with a public code and personal keyword to ensure the safety of the meter from the act of electrical pulse theft and freedom for the meter owner to replace the keyword. The calculation method of rms voltage, rms current and average power using numerical integral calculation method and energy is calculated from multiplication of power with duration of power usage. Real time calibration with Bluetooth obtained measurement error for voltage is 0.046% and error for current measurement is 0.63%
