Abstract
This study aims to analyze the implementation of mukhabarah in the implementation of farming and the impact of muhkabarah on the welfare of the passive farmers from an Islamic perspective in Pujut District, Central Lombok Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation and in-depth interviews. Informants were determined by snowball sampling technique. Qualitative data analysis which includes data reduction, display and drawing conclusions. The conclusions of the research are that 1) The background of mukhabarah cooperation between sensitive farmers and rice field owners in Pujut District, Central Lombok Regency, among others, land owners do not have technical skills in farming, live outside Pujut sub-district and are based on helping behavior (ta'awun). All swah farmers are asked by the owner of the land to work their fields independently; 2)The mukhabarah cooperation has been implemented in accordance with Islamic law, namely the fulfillment of the pillars and legal requirements for the mukhabarah implementation and has fulfilled the agreement on the distribution of costs and the distribution of the results of the mukhabarah cooperation according to the agreement; 3) Mukhabarah has had an impact on Islamic welfare for sensitive farmers in terms of guarding religion (al-Din), soul (al-Nafs), aqal (al-Aql), offspring (an-Nasl), and property (al-Mal). It is recommended that farmers remain trustworthy and honest in carrying out murabahah cooperation and farmers need to review them comprehensively in making decisions on the type of farming season II in order to avoid the risk of loss.
