Abstract
The study entitled Analysis of Factors Affecting the Work Participation of Older Citizens in West Lombok Regency aims to analyze the effect of age, sex, education, number of dependents, health, income and old age insurance (retirement) on the participation of elderly working population in Lombok regency West. The type of research used is explanative research, which aims to provide an overview of existing phenomena, explain relationships, test hypotheses, make predictions and provide meaning and implications of a problem being solved. In this study non-probability sample designs are used using accidental techniques. The analysis model in this study uses multiple linear regression models. In this study several basic things can be revealed that age, sex and income of the elderly are the main considerations affecting the work participation of the elderly population in West Lombok regency, in addition to other variables such as education, number of family dependents, health conditions and old age insurance. In general, the health condition of elderly respondents in West Lombok regency is in a healthy condition with an average outpouring of work hours of 200 hours per month. The types of work of elderly respondents in West Lombok regency are mostly in the informal sector. The income received by elderly respondents on average exceeds the minimum wage in West Lombok regency.
