Abstract
The purpose of this study is to find if there is significant effect of YouTube videos on student’s speaking skills. This research is a pre-experiment using a quantitative approach with One-Group Pretest-Posttest design which was focused on eight grade with the 27 participation. The researcher gave treatment for watching YouTube videos and gave speaking test to students for collecting data. The quantitative data analysis was used to found out of any significant effect on students’ speaking ability and inputting t-test by SPSS program. This result indicated there was significant effect of using YouTube videos on student’s speaking skills of grade 8 students in SMPN 4 Lambu, paired sample statistics shows mean of pre-test was 13.6296 and mean of post-test was 14.5185 and N for each other are 27 that there was significant differences between pre-test and post-test score. YouTube videos is has effect for used as a learning medium.
