Abstract
Ecotourism Development Potential In Nuraksa Grand Forest Park Area (Tahura) West Lombok Regency, NTB Province.This research aims to: (1)analyze the potential for ecotourism development (2) analyze the formulation of the concept of government policy in managing ecotourism; (3) analyze the ecotourism development model on the Nuraksa Grand Forest Park (Tahura) area; and (4) understand the attitude of the community towards the development of ecotourism in the Nuraksa Grand Forest Park (Tahura), West Lombok Regency, NTB Province;. The research was conducted in Pakuan Village, Narmada District, West Lombok Regency, using data in 2019. The research used a qualitative method, while data collection was carried out with observation techniques, in-depth interviews, documentation, FGD, and triangulation. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman models and SWOT analysis.The results show that: (1) Nuraksa Grand Forest Park (Tahura) area is a potential area to be developed into an ecotourism area; (2) the development of ecotourism in the Nuraksa Grand Forest Park (Tahura) area should be harmonized with the social and economic conditions of the community, and does not collide with the conservation efforts that the government has carried out; (3) the Agrosylvo Tourism (Ecotourism) model in the Nuraksa Grand Forest Park (Tahura) area, is a model of partnerships between the Government (Office of the Nuraksa Grand Forest Park (Tahura)); and (4) most people (86.67%) living around the Nuraksa Grand Forest Park (Tahura) area agreed and supported the development of this region as an ecotourism area
