Abstract

This experiment was conducted to determine the effect of wet duckweed and fresh sapu-sapu fish on egg production of Mojosari ducks. The study used 45 Mojosari ducks 6 months of age for 11 weeks of data collection. The study was designed using a Completely Randomized Design with 3 treatments and 3 replications. The formulated dietary treatments were P1, P2 and P3 which were treatments prepared with duckweed as a source of vegetable protein and sapu-sapu fish as a source of animal protein with different levels. The results showed that the combination of wet duckweed and fresh sapu-sapu fish into Mojosari duck ration did not affect egg production, egg mass and feed conversion (P>0.05) but influenced egg weight (P<0.05) and ration consumption (P<0.01).
